Government launches cervical smear campaign as research reveals screenings at 20 year low

The Government will today step up efforts to tackle the falling numbers of women attending cervical screening with a major national campaign. Screening is at a 20-year low, with one in four eligible women aged 25 to 64 in the UK not attending their test.
