ROBERT DOWNEY JR, who has most recently portrayed Doctor Dolittle in Dolittle, has been drug-free since July 2003 after battling drug and alcohol addiction. Drug addiction can stem from a number of different factors, but one of the star’s family members revealed a certain health condition was the reason he found it so difficult to stay sober.
