BREAST cancer is the most common type of cancer in the UK, with around one in eight women being diagnose wth the disease during their lifetime, according to the NHS. Surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy is the usual combination for treatment. But now a woman appears to have been cured of advanced drug-resistant breast cancer after doctors harnessed her own immune system to fight the disease.
